Custom Orthotics
At SoleFit Vancouver, we ensure your orthotics are truly custom by crafting them entirely in our on-site laboratory. We understand the importance of creating orthotics that not only support your condition but fit perfectly into the footwear you wear daily:
- Achilles tendonitis
- Plantar fasciitis
- Bunions and metatarsalgia
- Hip and back pain
- Patellofemoral knee pain
- Sesamoiditis
- Posterior tibialis tendonitis
We prioritise patient education, helping you understand the role of custom orthotics in your treatment plan. In many cases, orthotics may only be necessary during the treatment phase of your recovery.
Knee Bracing
Finding the right knee brace can be overwhelming with so many options available. Our one-hour knee brace assessment ensures you’re matched with the perfect brace for your condition, activity level, and lifestyle. Whether it’s ligament instability, osteoarthritis, or patellofemoral pain, our goal is to provide a brace that offers the protection you need and the comfort to ensure compliance.

Daniel Haft - C. Ped (C), BSc. Kin.
Daniel is a Certified Pedorthist whose journey into the field began with a personal struggle—a neuroma that once kept him from enjoying physical activities like tennis and running. That experience sparked a deep appreciation for the importance of foot health, not just for comfort, but for staying active and living life to the fullest.
By changing his footwear, using orthotics temporarily, and focusing on building foot strength, Daniel was able to recover. This process ignited a lasting interest in movement mechanics and the powerful role that small, intentional changes can play in overall health. Motivated by this transformation, he pursued a career in pedorthics to help others overcome similar challenges.
Daniel holds a Bachelor of Kinesiology and a Bachelor of Biology, and brings over 13 years of experience in the health and rehabilitation field. He is also a Level 2 Functional Gait Specialist through Gait Happens, with a particular passion for helping individuals recover from walking- and running-related injuries. His approach is grounded in evidence-based assessment and personalized care, with the goal of helping each person return to the activities they love.
His interest in running has led him to incorporate the Helix 3D Running Assessment into his practice—a cutting-edge tool that delivers detailed, objective data on running form and biomechanics to enhance performance and reduce injury risk.
Outside of his professional work, Daniel enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two children.
